Warm Spring Weather

This warm May weather has the farm in full swing for …. the Fall! Friday we started planting the pumpkins and with the good weather forecast plan to finish by the end of this week. Stokoe Farms plants over 20 varieties of pumpkins and 10 varieties of squash and gourds. Some take as long as 120 days to grow and ripen while other only take as few as 85 days.

Once planting is done we will continue on the many projects we have planned for the Fall Pumpkin Patch & Harvest Fest. While working in Little Farmerville, Wesley came upon this just born fawn. We have a litter of 7 fox pups living on Billy Goat Mountain and several litters of rabbits hopping around the Straw Fort and Hillbilly Hen House.
